Portrait parties are an exciting and affordable way for you and your friends to get together and have professional portraits taken of your family in a relaxed environment. These sessions are a wonderful way for you to have a custom portrait experience with me without having the price commitment of a full session. Portrait parties are great for people who:
- need an updated photo of their child.
- have experienced a full sessions and want to take advange of the current season.
- want to try me on before doing a full session.
- would like to have a themed session.
What is a Portrait Party?
A portrait party is an event hosted in your home or a near by location of your choice (outdoors only). I’ll go have 30 minute mini sessions for you and your friends.
How do they work?
Portrait parties are hosted by one person who provides the location, coordinates the guest list, schedules the sessions in 30 minutes intervals and collects the fees, host receives a complimentary free session and the CD with their gallery with printing rights. Guests enjoy a short but fun session, they are not required to stay for the duration of the party.
So how cool is this?!?!?.. are you ready to be a host???..
First, make out a potential guest list. I require at least 6 families (plus host) to participate in the party with a maximum of 10. Discuss dates with your guests to see which dates will work best for all of you and me. Select the location.
Ideas for themes (they are not required, but just to throw some ideas your way):
Father’s day gifts, Birthdays, early “fall” family portraits, children, dress-up, summer, etc..
Fee: $375/ per family includes the mini session (immediate family), gallery with 10+ proofs, CD with gallery and printing rights, 10% off a la carte prices.
