Last Saturday I had the fun opportunity of hosting a Basic Photography Workshop. I’ve been teaching this basic class for almost 3 years, I do little groups here and there and a lot of individual sessions. Lately I’ve been getting a lot more requests for it so I decided to do a big Basic Workshop. I rented “Aurora Studios” in downtown Helena and opened registrations, within a few days all places were filled. Let me tell you it was lots of fun!.
The day started with lots of talking, learning all about our cameras… we headed out to shoot our model family, first in the easy light then we headed to the open sun light.

My little Vivian was our model for indoor lighting..

Like I said it was a super fun morning and I think we all learned… I always enjoy talking about photography and I love to put the little seed of love for it to new ladies out there.. ;)
If you are interested in a class please contact me!
I want to thank my friend Amy Carson from Amy Carson Photography for helping me out the day of the workshop.. from holding my baby to moving chairs and taking cool behind the scene shots… thank you Amy, you rock!!!! Here are some of the shots that Amy got of me.
