Our Summer in Review… {Destination Lifestyle Family Photographer}

Isn’t it wild that the summer is gone?!?!.. Allison has been in school for almost one week!!!  Soon we’ll be buying halloween decorations!!.. hehe

This summer has been one of the most crazy ones that I’ve had (specially after having kids lol)… Last year I turned 30 years old and I had put in my mind that I wanted to take a vacation to visit my bbf that lives in France.. of course last year came and went without me going anywhere, so at the beginning of this year I decided I was going to do it no matter what.. SO I bought tickets and planned the crazy trip to Europe, me and my 3 kiddos ( 5 years old and under, the hubby joined us for the last week of our trip)… and off we went..  no I’m not a super woman, yes my kids fight, run wild and made me scream. But it was one of those things that I had to do.. the opportunity was there and I decided to take it. Crazy Summer is short in words, after Europe (as if we haven’t had enough of airplanes and airports and junk food) we went to Mexico to spend the last few weeks of summer.. we basically came back 10 days ago and let me tell you.. this mommy is still tired.. haha.. last week I crashed on the couch for almost 2 full days.. couldn’t move!!.. I swear I was so so tired, the kiddos were way to hyper and I wondered if all those many international trips were a good idea… thank goodness the exhaustion is slowly going away and the kiddos are finally getting back to routine and they don’t act like animals in a cage any more… so in perspective yes, I would absolutely do it all over again.. TOMORROW if I could.. ;)

The fact that I was born in a different country and that I’ve been traveling all over the place since I was little has made me put as a priority in my life and my kiddos life to travel, to open their eyes to different cultures, countries, languages, food, etc… all those things that change from place to place.. I’m hoping it helps them as they grow to realize how lucky they are, to appreciate what they have (and don’t have) and to respect everybody around them.

So as I sit designing a book of our summer I decided to share some more pics here..

we are already thinking where our next adventure will be.. hehe.. yup, we are THAT crazy.. ;)

I hope you all enjoyed your summer and spent tons of quality time with your loved ones…
