Dallas and Houston

So the first part of our trip was me driving all the way to Texas. The drive was actually not as long as I thought it was going to be but it rained the whole time so it was slow and stressing.. we left at 4am and made it safe to Dallas at around 2pm.. the kiddos did awesome actually and I didn’t take any pictures as loading and unloading my big camera was too much.. I should get a little one for things like that!.. ;)

The reason of us stopping in Dallas was to visit some aunts that I have there, one of them was running the marathon in Downtown Dallas so we took the dart to go see her.. I have never been at one of those and the experience was awesome.. even though it was freezing everybody was so full of energy and happy.. from kids to old people.. so much fun!

IMG_2716IMG_2725bmy aunt’s house has a trampoline so the kids jumped the afternoon away.. I was wondering how in the world is that they have soo much energy.. lol

IMG_2595IMG_2620IMG_2643After Dallas we drove to Houston.. we stopped in a little town near by to take some pictures of some cute kiddos that I’ve known for a while but I had never seen in person.. it was very cool to actually see them and specially to take their pictures.. this is only one of them as I’m not working on their session until I go back home.

IMG_2884so at Houston we stayed at the house of one of my friends from college.. it was super fun to see her and catch up with her, we left early her house to the airport and the waiting began.. 2 airplanes and hours and hours waiting for them..

IMG_3054IMG_3060bIMG_3069bI’m finally catching up in sleep and food.. all my family lives pretty close to each other so I go early to my grandmas and have breakfast with them, after I go to one of my aunts and I have breakfast there again.. lol and lunch and dinner is the same.. apparently they think I need to gain weight.. ;)  I’m letting them spoil me because well.. I know it’ll be a while before we get to do this again so why not?.. so I enjoy everything now.. the Christmas celebrations are in their peak now and we’ve been attending to those (pics to follow of course) and the kids are loving everything.. it is so nice to see how they get into everything so much, they specially love the pinatas and all the candy involved with them.. love the traditions here so much..

Anyway, that’s us so far.. stay tuned for more!
